With contributions from many notable writers including G.K. Chesterton (To Enid who acted the Cat in Private Pantomime), A. A. Milne (When We Were Very, Very Young), and two fresh 'cautionary tales' from Hilaire Belloc ('Jack and His Pony, Tom' and 'Tom and His Pony, Jack'). Tips worn and a bit soiled, backstrip frayed along rear hinge, clean and fresh internal text. Notably, the first appearance in print for the editor, Cynthia Asquith, notable writer of horror and ghost stories. She contributes two original fairy tales for this collection. VERY GOOD.
