Hand numbed and signed copy number copy no. 255 of an edition limited to 530 copies (500 for sale). Printed on rag paper and hand set in Imprint Shadow type by Robert MacLehose & Co at the Glasgow University Press. Very faint offsetting to the endpapers beyond the DJ flaps, else FINE with all leaves following the limitation page uncut; DJ spine toned, entirely crisp and clean otherwise. An uncommonly nice copy of a book very prone to damage. Inaugural volume of the Woburn Books series. 'This limited, signed edition was the only separate publication in book form.' [Sullivan 76].
