Extremities rubbed, rear cover dampstained, typical foxing and a few dog eared pages, sound and unmarked otherwise. Undated later printing, presumed 1853 from the lates review printed in the appendix of endorsements, letters, and reviews. Verso states only 'Entered ... Congress ... 1847.' Attwater 1697. Horrick was an early Manchester disciple of Robert Owen and among his first six 'Social Missionaries.' Upon emigration to the U.S. Horrick continued work in public health education.
