All volumes illustrated throughout with 261 B/W plates, all of with are present along with frontispieces.

Some light rubbing to extremities. Volumes 1 and 2 show some evidence of use with vol. 1 front hinge starting. Vols. 2-4 have a 1/2' - 1" white stain to tail of spines. All volumes are otherwise clean, sound, and quite handsome on the shelf.
