Tide mark to upper edge of endpapers and several of the plates, pen and pencil marginalia to a few pages of "Essay on Man", hinges just starting, some light rubbing to extremities, second owner's bookplate over first owner's inscription d. 1857.

A very sound, square copy in a lovely binding. VERY GOOD. Item #1014
